CCRF Kicks-Off Holidays with Toy Drives
NEW OXFORD, PA - Many children and their families will spend the holidays in the hospital fighting the battle against cancer. In our continued efforts to bring hope and joy to the pediatric cancer patients, the Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation (CCRF) will host holiday toy drives with WINK 104 and NASH FM 106.7 at the Capital City Mall, and HOT 93.5 at the Harrisburg and Hanover locations of the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.
“The holiday season is especially difficult for young cancer patients and their families,” explained Greg Anderson, founder of New Oxford, PA-based CCRF. “A simple donation of a coloring book or stuffed animal can truly make a difference and put a smile on a child’s face.”
On Friday, December 2, WINK 104 will hold a holiday toy drive to benefit CCRF that delivers toys to more than 16,000 children diagnosed with cancer across the nation. The drive will be held at Capital City mall in Camp Hill, PA from 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sue Campbell from the morning show will broadcast from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Hollywood Heffelfinger will take over from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.! Stop to show your support for children battling cancer this holiday season, and enter for your chance to win TSO tickets!
