Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation hosted the second annual Ride For Hope on June 8th, 9th and 10th at the donated grounds of Juniata Saddle Horse Association in Oakland Mills, PA. The event was once again a huge success raising both awareness and funds for childhood cancer! It was the effort of great friends and families that allowed us to raise $10,000 during our weekend long event.
There were plenty of activities for the whole family that included fabulous food, horseback riding, a magic show, pony rides, a DJ, games, raffles and a live charity auction. We also hosted several families of children with cancer to give them a chance to enjoy a fun filled country camping weekend in the heart of PA.

Childhood Cancer isn’t something a child should have to face, especially not alone. Children’s Cancer Recovery gives families the support they need to help be by their child’s side during treatment through financial support, bear-able gift bags, and camp scholarships.
